COMPLETED:
From Sun to Sun with Motoquest!
We celebrated the summer's solstice
riding from Sun to Sun!!!

WE MADE IT!
Motoquest has created this ride in
order to visit 2 oceans in 1 day and ride from the dusk of the Jarocho
Port of Veracruz to the golden sunset of Bahía de Acapulco, just
during the summer's solstice. That was the weekend of june 22nd,
23rd & 24th, 2007. What we did? We departed
friday june 22nd from de Independence Column (Ángel de la Independencia)
at 15:30hrs towards Veracruz, Ver., our starting point of
Sol@Sol. Next day we rode in one stretch
following the sun up to Acapulco, we partied with our friends there and
then we rode all the way back home on sunday.

What route we've made? Our route was about 12 hours long strating from Carranza's
monument in the jarocho port untill Puebla and from there to Atlixco to
ride pass Cuautla until reaching Cuernavaca and making a brief stop on
the "El 4 Vientos" restaurante in Alpuyeca (meeting point) to finally
take the famous Autopista del Sol up to our destiny Acapulco. Take a
look at the Trip Computer of the Sol@Sol:

NEXT TRIP: EMILIO SCOTTO, THE
CARAVAN 2008
That's right, Emilio in person, the man who holds the
Guinness Record for the longest around-the-world motorcycle travel ever
made.

Emilio Scotto joined us as our special guest for
the first touring event organized by Motorpress Televisa through the
Action Team and Motociclismo magazine: The
MOTOTURISMO EN ACCIÓN.
This was the first event of its kind in Mexico, and
it's all about serious moto-touring, with a very special guest as
Emilio, a route plan specially designed by MOTOQUEST and also
Santiago Calcagno as the tour guide. Emilio also promoted
his new project CARAVANA 2008 during his visit
in Mexico.
Stay in touch for news abou the CARAVANA 2008.

SIMM 2007:
Remembering that Playboy Catwalk
We were part of the PLayboy Catwalk with the
Sol@Sol BMW bike on the Salón Internacional
de la Moto México 2007 with all the bunnies.

For
a second year in a row we had an active participation in the Playboy
Catwalk of the Salón Internacional de la Motocicleta México. This time
we took part of the show riding tha same black BMW R1200 S that
was used in the Sol@Sol. Besides all the
fun and having those playboy bunnies and playmates as pillions in our
bike, we received a special recognition for our contribution to the SIMM
2007.
On the expo itself we shared some time with the Marlboro Cup 10-time
consecutive champion and tru legend of mexican motorcycle racing -and
our much appreciated friend- Luis Aramoni. Here we share a
picture of Santiago with Carolina and Luis with Samanta the
opening day of the SIMM 07.

 Not
many motorcycle DVDs around, but we think they are worth watching:
LONG WAY ROUND,
3-disc and 10 Episode Special Edition
with the complete TV series with bonus tracks.
THE MSF DIRT BIKE
SCHOOL,
a must for those
